Ida L. Jackson Graduate House Apartments
The Ida Louise Jackson Graduate House is located one block from the campus. The complex offers space for 120 graduate students in two-, three-, four-, five-, and six-bedroom shared apartments. Utilities are included. A 12-month lease is required. Jackson House is considered “off campus” for budgetary purposes with the Financial Aid office.

- Single-occupancy bedrooms, shared bathroom, shared kitchen facility, and living/dining room area.
- Phone and data lines provided in bedrooms.
- The complex has common areas; lounges, study rooms, recreation room, vending room, mail room, and a shared outdoor courtyard.
- Study rooms.
- Laundry room.
- Bicycle storage.

Residents may prepare their own meals or purchase a Nonresident Meal Plan through Cal Dining, or use their Cal 1 Card to enjoy Cal Dining's services.

Residential and Student Service Programs continues to offer a low-cost, optional cleaning service to help with cleaning in your Jackson House apartment general-use areas.
The basic services are as follows:
Custodial services are provided for apartment kitchens, living rooms, and bathrooms on a schedule determined by each group of apartment residents.
Cleaning services are provided at a rate of $45 per hour with costs to be divided between apartment residents who sign up for the program.
Cleaning services do not include cleaning personal bedrooms, emptying trash, or washing dishes.
There will be a break in service during Spring Recess, from Monday, March 21 through Friday, March 25, 2016. The service will end on Friday, May 13, 2016, the last day of the Spring Semester.
